Joe Hutchinson was known as Joe Normal from 1982-92 while in glam rock/punk pop band The Zeros with brother Jimmy aka "Mr. Insane". The brothers left The Zeros to focus their own songwriting. They performed as The Hutchinsons from '92-'98 with bassist Glenn Hayes citing Urge Overkill, XTC, Jellyfish and '90s brit-pop as an influence. When Jimmy and Joe parted ways in 1998, Joe adopted the name Hutch and went on to release 4 albums including this one with drummer Thom Sullivan and Hayes on bass. The power pop trio provide unabashed guitar licks, driving bass, explosive drum rhythms, strapping melodies, and tightly crafted lyrics. Hutch exhibits these and other kick-ass traits showcased on the re-issue of their long out of print 11 track CD available now with 5 bonus tracks!
